A dated list of startup, tech and business networking events in Boston and Cambridge for November 2026, plus the weekly regulars and the angel groups founders actually meet.

The best networking events in Boston this November are the free Venture Café Thursday Gatherings in Kendall Square, TechCrunch Founder Summit on November 4 at SoWa Power Station, and a run of Startup Grind and Startup Boston evenings through the month. Below: every dated event we could confirm, the recurring communities worth knowing, and how founders get in front of angel investors.

This page is refreshed every month. Details were checked against organizer and listing pages on October 27, 2026. Prices and venues change, so confirm on the registration page before you go.

Networking events in Boston: November 2026 calendar

These are the dated events we could verify. Several Luma events from Startup Boston show the street address only after you register, and some require host approval. More events are added weekly, so use the calendars in the last section as well.

Two notes. First, TechCrunch lists independent side events on November 3 to 6 around the summit, hosted by firms such as Hyperplane VC and Deel. Registration is separate from the conference pass, and the side-event list has the details. Second, Venture Café lists no Cambridge gathering for November 26, and its December Thursday Gatherings are posted for December 3, 10 and 17.

Recurring startup events and communities in Boston

Dated listings go stale fast. These groups keep a steady rhythm, which makes them the better bet when you want a reliable place to show up.

Venture Café Thursday Gatherings

People search for Venture Café Boston, but the weekly gathering is in Cambridge, on the fifth floor of CIC at One Broadway, across from the Kendall Square Red Line stop. It is free and open to everyone, and evenings mix panels, startup pitches and an open-networking session called the Connection Collider. Cambridge Day reported more than 460 attendees a week in February, and the format has run since 2009. Bring a government ID for building entry. Walk-ins are accepted.

Startup Boston and Startup Boston Week

Startup Boston runs the most complete events calendar for Greater Boston and New England, plus a weekly newsletter. Its own events skew small and useful: cofounder matching, founder lunches, mentor circles and coffee meetups.

If you were searching for Boston Startup Week, the name is Startup Boston Week. The 2026 edition ran September 14 to 18 and was billed as year ten on the organizer's site. We found no 2027 dates yet, so join the newsletter if you want first notice.

Boston New Technology and Startup Grind Boston

Boston New Technology (BNT) is a long-running community with more than 19,000 members on Meetup. Its current events, run with Startup Grind Boston, are online: Precision Pitch Practice on Thursdays at noon (listed through November 12) and Deck Doctors, a pitch-deck review. Startup Grind's Boston chapter also hosts in-person evenings, two of which appear in the table above.

MassChallenge, Greentown Labs and Harvard i-lab

MassChallenge's events page lists virtual info sessions on November 2 and 3 for its 2027 programs, and the Boston Dual-Use Symposium on November 5. Its flagship INNOVATE '26 is in Dallas on November 17, so it is not a local option.

Greentown Labs in Somerville is a home base for climatetech startups. Its Boston Climatetech Summit is on October 29 at 444 Somerville Ave, just before this calendar starts. Check Greentown's events page for what follows.

The Harvard Innovation Labs events page lists founder clinics, workshops and a Fundraising 101 session on November 12. The page does not say which events are open to the public, so check each listing before you plan around one.

Boston tech events beyond the startup core

For a wider mix, Eventbrite and Meetup carry plenty of business mixers, from DisruptHR to industry nights. Quality varies. Treat paid mixers as a bet on who shows up, and read the description for the intended crowd. Professional associations such as ACG Boston, in the table above, run tighter, industry-specific evenings.

Where founders meet angel investors in Boston

Most Boston founders meet angel investors through a handful of groups. Each has a different front door, so match your stage and network to the right one. Each group's details below come from its own site and may change.

  • Launchpad Venture Group. Focused on early-stage, science- or tech-driven companies headquartered in New England. You apply through a prescreen form. Fits go to one of two paths: Catalyst, a casual event where eight to ten startups give short pitches, or the Main Forum, for companies raising a priced equity round of $500,000 to $2 million, with a small scouting team of investors preparing you for a monthly forum.
  • Boston Harbor Angels. Submit an online application. Its site says it reviews more than 100 plans a month, brings about eight to a screening meeting (10-minute pitch, 20 minutes of questions), and invites four to a General Investor Meeting. A one-time $400 fee applies at that last step. It typically looks at rounds of $500,000 to $1.5 million.
  • Hub Angels. One of the older Boston groups, active since 2000. Its FAQ says "Hub does not accept unsolicited plans," so you need an introduction through a member or managing director. About three to five companies present at each of six annual investment meetings. It does not consider companies valued above $10 million.
  • TBD Angels. A group of operators and executives. Founders can apply or contact a member, then move through a phone screen, a screening committee and a monthly dinner meeting where two companies pitch.
  • The Capital Network. Not an angel group, but a fundraising education organization with workshops for first-time founders and a network of 300-plus investors.

Two practical tips. Show up at the investor-facing events in the calendar, such as Founder Signal and the TBD Angels mixer, before you apply cold. And read each group's fit criteria first: stage, valuation and geography screen out more founders than the pitch does.

How to get value from a networking event

Most people leave a networking evening with a pocketful of cards and no follow-up. A few habits change that.

  • Pick one event, not four. Weeks with six options tempt you to hop. Choose the one whose audience matches your next goal: hiring, customers, or capital.
  • Arrive in the first hour. Rooms are easier to enter before groups form.
  • Carry a one-sentence ask. "I'm looking for two design partners in logistics" beats a description of your company. People can only help with something specific.
  • Aim for three real conversations. Ask what they are working on first. Write one line about each person on your phone before you leave.
  • Follow up within 24 hours. Reference something you discussed, make one clear ask, and suggest a coffee. A good place to meet is a hotel bar; our guide to hotel bars in Boston lists quiet ones.
  • Keep a place to work between events. Our guides to places to work in Boston and coworking compared help you pick one.

The calendars to bookmark

Whether you want startup networking across Boston or only in Cambridge, these cover most open events.

Create: a place to work between events

Create is a private members' club in Boston's five-star hotels: premium space to work with the all-inclusive treatment. It is built for founders, investors, operators, creatives, independent talent and remote workers. Members get a concierge on arrival, a coffee or drink on us every visit, Wi-Fi, rooms to meet booked in the app, and the gym, pool and spa at partner hotels.

Opening night is Friday, January 15, 2027. Create Nights, the members-only evenings held weekly, and the monthly Demo Night, with six pitches to Create Sharks, start after opening night. Create Sharks are local investors and mentors on demand: founders can pitch, find mentors and build a board. Investors and mentors can apply to be Create Sharks. Joining the waitlist is free, with no payment until you are accepted, and applications are reviewed within 48 hours. The first 200 founding members in Boston pay $99 a month, kept for as long as they stay.
